Professor Sharifah Hapsah opened the forum and delivered its concluding “Way Forward.”
The programme brought together women representatives from numerous Malaysian political parties to assess women’s participation following the 15th General Election.

It included a press conference, panel discussion, question-and-answer session and a concluding examination of measures needed to strengthen women’s representation in political leadership.
