Professor Sharifah Hapsah’s presidential message formed part of NCWO’s commemorative record of Women’s Day and the development of Malaysia’s organised women’s movement.

The message situated NCWO’s contemporary advocacy within the organisation’s historical role in bringing together women’s associations, professional groups and women’s sections of political organisations to advance the position of women nationally.
